Total hip replacements are often recommended in the middle aged dog with severe arthritis of the hip joints. The arthritic hip is replaced with a modular prosthetic hip (high density polyethelene cup, CoCr ball and stem). We utilize the latest techniques and equipment and have extensive experience with this procedure.
